Adult Beginner Swim Lessons
It's never too late to learn how to swim! Our swim instructors will provide an introductory water program designed for adults or teens that may be fearful about participation in water activities or need assistance developing their basic swimming skills. This is a comfortable, non-threatening environment and with very patient instructors who want to help participants conquer their fear of the water and learn to swim.
Adult Stroke Refinement
Jump in and take this opportunity to increase your swimming efficiency and gain confidence. This is a class intended for those who would like assistance with improving their stroke technique, breathing pattern, and endurance. We welcome those who are looking to improve their basic strokes, become a fitness swimmer or train for a triathalon.
Aqua Boot Camp
Ready to cross train? Ready to kick your water workout up a notch? Aqua Boot Camp is for you! Aqua Boot Camp is a fun and challenging workout which will give you an extra push to surpass your comfort zone. Aerobic and strength training will include plyometric moves, sprinting, jumping and hopping. Balance and core work will also be included. Join us as we sweat in the water!
Aqua Kickboxing is an innovative, non-competitive class combining the benefits of water’s buoyancy and resistance to increase muscle strength, endurance, agility, coordination, balance, and core stability. Work at your pace while gaining new skills to boost your overall fitness with the opportunity to work out in water and reducing the risk of injury. Perfect for all fitness levels.
Aqua Sculpt is a high energy, no bounce, no impact water exercise class. Aqua Sculpt focuses on total body strengthening by honing in on the body's core muscles and by utilizing the natural resistance of the water. Come to have fun, build strength, and sculpt your muscles!

Baby Drops Swimming Lessons
No need to wait! Start the process of introducing your baby to the water sooner rather than later. This parent and child class will start building your baby's confidence and swimming readiness. What a fun opportunity for you and your child to explore the water and become adjusted together. Parents will learn basic water skills to keep their children safe and help them to love the water. Safety information and teaching techniques will be provided to parents. Parental participation is required.
Big Ripples Swimming Lessons
Celebrate your child's independence in the water. This is the first class that children participate in the lesson without a caregiver. They must be comfortable separating from their parents and be able to follow safety rules. Children are encouraged to develop arm strokes, kicking, floating, and submerging independently. Safety lessons will be more in depth. It is geared towards beginner swimmers in the 4-5 age range.
Want to boogie on down in the water? Then join us for Dance Fusion! This high energy, fun, funky, and electric dance class is fused with cardio building moves such as kicking, punching, and hip swinging. Come to burn calories, tone your body, and to just have fun! All fitness levels are welcomed!
Ellis Life Guard Training
Be a part of the aquatics team! This is an intensive lifeguard training course that teaches high protection standards to enable you to prevent guests from catastrophic injury or drowning. This program gives lifeguards the skills and technical knowledge to become an effective member of an aquatics emergency response team. Upon completion of course participants are eligible for employment at the Green Ridge indoor pool and Splash Valley during the summer. Must be 16 to be considered for employment. Pre-registration is required.
Prerequisite: Must be 15 years old to enroll and be able to swim 100 yds, retrieve a brick from a depth of 8 ft. and tread water for one minute. Classes will be Wed- Fri 5:00pm-9:00pm, Sat & Sun. 8:00am-2:00pm.

Hydro Power! Participants are coached through a rugged workout of drills, tabatas, circuits, and interval training. Develop your muscular strength, endurance, and core strength in our 'liquid gym' with a variety of equipment. For intermediate and advanced participants.
Level 1 Swimming Lessons
Let's have fun learning to swim! This is a class for the older beginning swimmer to become comfortable and confident in the water. They will gain basic aquatic skills including; beginning swimming strokes, breath control, floating, and kicking - all of which will help to keep them safe. Games and activities will help teach them to enjoy and become adjusted to the water. In addition, they will participate in a safety lesson each lesson that will encourage them to be safe around all aquatic environments. The goal is a positive attitude towards swimming and water safety.
Level 2 Swimming Lessons
Our swimmers continue to build on the basic skills learned in Level 1 in the Level 2 class. The student will become more confident and be able to swim short distances by themselves. Students in this class should be very comfortable going under the water. Emphasis in this class is on learning to float without support, alternating arms and leg actions on front and back along with rotary breathing. Safety lessons are ever present in order to ensure our participant's safety around all water environments. Fun is not forgotten either!
Level 3 and Level 4 Swimming Lessons
Now you're really a swimmer! Swimmers in this class are very confident and comfortable in the water. All strokes are introduced and by the time they have completed both levels, they will be able to swim at least 25 yards of all six strokes. When a participant passes Level 3 they will have achieved basic water competency skills according to the new American Red Cross standards. Safety lessons become more in depth and cover more topics.
Level 4 Swimming Lessons
Participants in this class will focus on developing all the strokes. Upon completion of this class participants will have been introduced to butterfly, sidestroke, breaststroke and turns on the wall. There will be a focus on swimming the length of the pool and improving rotary breathing skills in order that efficency is improved. This class is appropriate for the young or new swim team member that wants to continue to improve. Don't worry... safety lessons continue.
Little Splashes Swimming Lessons
Come enjoy swimming with your child as they acquire basic aquatic skills that will encourage their love of the water. This class is the foundation of swimming skills for years to come. While parental participation is required in this class, there will be some time of independent swimming. This time will help your child separate from you and help to discover if they are ready to go to the next level without you. Parents will still be provided with water safety information to keep your entire family safe around aquatic environments.
Splash Valley Group Reservation
Splash Valley Water Park is now taking group reservations for the 2017 season for parties of 20 to 150. Make sure your group gets in without having to wait in line. Enjoy reduced price admission of only $6 per guest.
Tidal Waves Swimming Lessons
Jump in, float, and swim! Children will continue to build upon the skills introduced in Big Ripples and become more proficient in their swimming abilities. Children in Tidal Waves should be comfortable with their face in the water and be independent. This class is designed for a 4-5 year old who is confident in the water and not a beginner. They will learn arm strokes and kicking with freestyle and back stroke and be introduced to rotary breathing. To pass this class a child must be able to float on their back and stomach independently. Water safety is highly emphasized in this class and discussed at every opportunity. Children will move directly to Level 2 after completion of this course.
Tiny Bubbles Swimming Lessons
Join your child as they discover the world of water. With your help, toddlers will experiment with arm and leg action, floating and going under water. Lots of repetition will help them become very comfortable and confident in the water. This is a fun and engaging class which will keep your child wanting to come back even as they are learning about safety and swimming skills. Parental participation is required.
