Absolute Beginners Pottery
Our beginners course is great for anyone who wants to dive right into clay. Experienced instructors will guide you through the process of creating pottery on and off the potter's wheel. You will also learn basic methods for finishing and glazing your pieces. Class fee includes studio time during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the eight week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds.

Advanced Obedience (ages 18+)
Is your dog CGC certified? This seven week advanced course focuses on the ten skills needed by all well-mannered dogs as outlined in the Canine Good Citizen Program. It is designed to reward dogs who have good manners at home & in the community. The CGC Program is a two part program that stresses responsible pet ownership for owners & basic good manners for dogs. All dogs who pass the 10 step CGC test will receive a certificate from the American Kennel Club. Pottery Courses
The Brambleton Center offers a well equipped studio to create original works of clay in both wheel and freeform. Equipment includes 13 electric wheels, a slab roller, and an assortment of tools and accessories for shaping and sculpting the clay. A variety of glazes are mixed in the studio offering about 23 colors. Class fee also includes utilizing the studio on your own during select times when classes aren't in session and the firing of pieces made during the 10 week term. Clay must be purchased through Brambleton Center at $25/25 pounds. Saturday will be an open workshop opportunity for those currently registered in a Pottery class. Stress Reduction Through Mindfulness
Looking to reduce the stress and strife in your life? Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction programs provide practical techniques to better manage stress, chronic illness, pain and stressful life events. Learn how to improve present moment awareness, identify physical triggers and generate positive thinking during this five week course. Several approaches to meditation (that you can use at home!) will be taught and techniques for managing difficult emotions, pain, and improving communication with others will be practiced. Soap Crafting (Ages 7-12, 11-17, and 18+)
Suds up for a fun activity! You or your child can learn to "craft" beautiful soaps for personal use or gifting. A pre-made sensitive skin glycerine base is used and instruction on how to color, scent, mold and embed soap is shared as well as at-home instructions if you would like to continue the fun!
